Where do employees shop for a health plan?
Employees will be guided to choose a plan from the federal or state-based health insurance exchange (AKA marketplace.)
Here’s how that process works for administrators:
- Once you’re set up with StretchDollar, the next step is to invite your employees – made possible through your Benefits Portal.
- Doing so triggers an online onboarding process and tags in StretchDollar. (We’ll take it from here.)
Here's how the process works for employees:
- Employees will log into StretchDollar from the invite that their admin triggers.
- Once logged on, they will confirm their contact information and choose to "accept" or "waive" the health benefit.
- For those who accept, we’ll take them through a guided health insurance shopping experience on the marketplace.
