I already have a marketplace plan. Do I need to re-shop?

That’s great news — if you already have a Marketplace plan, you do not need to shop for a new one. You can keep your existing plan and use it with your ICHRA benefits.

That said, you can shop if you’d like to explore other options. Being offered an ICHRA is considered a qualifying life event, which opens a Special Enrollment Period and gives you the opportunity to select a new Marketplace plan when it's not open enrollment. Your enrollment period is 60 days from your start date.

If you’d prefer to keep your current plan, simply click Enroll, skip the shopping step, and complete your auto-reimbursement request. You’ll just need to provide proof of your existing coverage.

Once your administrator reviews and approves your request, you’ll be all set! Reimbursements will be issued by the 1st of each month for the remainder of the plan year.
