How do I add another admin to my account?

Want someone else to help manage your StretchDollar account? Our support team gives admin access for you. There isn't a setting in the portal for this, so here's the quickest way to get it done.

How to add an admin

  1. Add the person to your account first. Go to Employees and click Add Employee. Admin access can only be given to someone who's already on your account.
  2. Email us at support@stretchdollar.com with:
    • The person's name and the email they're on your account with
    • Whether they should be an additional admin or replace the current admin
    • Whether they'll use the health benefit themselves (see below)
  3. We'll make the change, usually within one business day, and let you know when it's done. They may need to sign out and back in to see the admin view.

What the new admin will see

Admins have two views. They manage the company from the Company Portal, and they can switch to their own Benefits Portal using the link at the bottom of the menu.

Admin access is company-wide. There's no view-only or billing-only role, so any admin can see every employee's enrollment and reimbursement details, approve or reject reimbursements, and manage company and billing settings.

What if they won't use the benefit?

That's fine. Being an admin is separate from taking the benefit. When they get their invite, they can choose Waive and still keep admin access. You're only billed per employee for people who enroll and submit proof of coverage.

If they aren't eligible for the benefit at all (for example, an owner, or someone who works for an outside HR firm), tell us when you email and we'll set that up too.

Replacing yourself as admin?

Every account needs at least one admin. Add the new person, then email us that they're replacing you. We'll give them access first and then remove yours, so your account is never left without an admin.
