My reimbursement didn't arrive because of a bank problem. Will it be re-sent?
Didn't get your reimbursement because your bank connection had expired, or your bank sent the payment back? Here's what happens and how to get paid.
Will my payment be sent again automatically?
Not always. If a deposit is returned by your bank, it isn't automatically re-sent. You'll need to fix your bank connection and let us know so the payment can be sent again.
What to do
- Reconnect your bank. In your StretchDollar portal, click Bank Setup in the left menu and connect your account again. If your bank isn't listed, see My bank isn't listed. What do I do?
- Email us. Send a note to support@stretchdollar.com with the month that didn't arrive and that you've reconnected your bank. We'll work with your employer to get it re-sent.
- Keep paying your insurance company. A missed reimbursement doesn't change your health plan. Keep paying your premium to the carrier as usual.
Your next monthly reimbursement goes to your newly connected account once it's set up. Payments go out around the 1st of the month.
Why did my payment fail?
Common reasons include an expired or disconnected bank link, a closed account, or incorrect account details. Keeping Bank Setup up to date is the best way to avoid it.
