How do I complete or retry micro-deposit verification for my bank account?
Most banks connect instantly through our secure bank-linking partner — easy peasy. If yours doesn't, or instant verification doesn't pan out, no worries: we fall back to micro-deposit verification, which just means two small deposits (each under $1) land in your account. Works the same whether you're an employer verifying a company account or an employee verifying a personal one.
To complete micro-deposit verification
- Give it 1–3 business days for the two small deposits to show up on your bank statement or online banking activity.
- Log in to the Portal and go to Bank Setup.
- Click Resume Verification (or whatever status button is showing, like Complete Manual Verification, Verification Expired, Try Again!, or Verification Failed, Try Again!).
- In the window that pops up, enter the two amounts exactly as they appear on your statement and confirm.
And that's it — your account is connected!
If verification isn't working
- Deposits never showed up: double-check the account and routing numbers you entered, and confirm with your bank that nothing bounced.
- Amounts don't match, or the link expired: you've got a limited number of tries. If you get locked out, click Disconnect (or Abandon Verification if you haven't connected a funding source yet) to remove the account, then click Connect Bank to reconnect and kick off new micro-deposits.
