Why do you ask for SSN and a driver's license at setup?

We care about your security and your business' security. It's the reason for the extra authentication requirements. To unlock the ability to transfer funds from the company's business bank account to the employee's bank account, admins must verify their identity with their social security number and a photo of their driver's license.

Please note: StretchDollar does not store sensitive information such as SSN or driver's license images. These are passed directly to our third-party financial processing partner, Dwolla, who processes them securely.
