Pricing Update for Legacy/Grandfathered Accounts
Effective January 1, 2027
If your StretchDollar account is on a legacy or grandfathered pricing plan — meaning it has either been free or at a $40/mo rate — your pricing will change on January 1, 2027.
We’ve kept older pricing in place for early customers as StretchDollar has grown. Beginning in 2027, we’re bringing all customers onto the same standard pricing.
Why are we making this change?
When StretchDollar launched, we wanted to make it as easy as possible for small businesses to try ICHRA. We initially offered the platform for free. As the product grew, we introduced pricing of $40/month + $8 per participating employee per month.
Since then, StretchDollar has evolved significantly. We’ve invested in a much more robust platform, including improvements to the employer and employee experience, automated reimbursements, integrations, broker tools, security and compliance, and ongoing customer support.
Earlier this year, we established $100/month + $25 per enrolled employee per month as our standard pricing for new customers.
We’ve continued to honor older pricing for our legacy customers while making that transition. At this point, maintaining multiple pricing structures no longer makes sense for our business or our customers.
Starting January 1, 2027, all customers will be on the same standard pricing.
Even with this change, StretchDollar remains one of the most affordable ICHRA platforms available to small businesses. We’ve intentionally kept our pricing simple and competitive while continuing to invest in the technology and service behind the platform.
What will I pay?
Starting January 1, 2027, your account will move to:
- $100/month platform fee — a flat monthly fee, regardless of your number of employees
- $25/month per enrolled employee — you only pay this fee for employees who actively participate in your ICHRA
Your ICHRA allowance is separate from these platform fees and is not affected by this change.
Who does this affect?
This change applies to customers currently on legacy or grandfathered pricing, which includes customers using StretchDollar’s ICHRA platform for free or who are still on our former $40/month + $8 PEPM pricing.
If you're already paying our standard $100/month + $25 PEPM pricing, nothing changes for you.
When does the new pricing start?
Your current pricing will remain in place through December 31, 2026.
Your new pricing will take effect January 1, 2027, and will appear on billing on or after that date.
Do I need to do anything?
Maybe.
If you currently have billing set up, the change will happen automatically. You don't need to update your account or sign a new agreement.
If you were on a free plan, you will need to add your billing by January 1, 2027 to continue offering StretchDollar ICHRA to employees.
