Working with a Brokerage or Partner

StretchDollar partners with different brokerages who may have helped you get started!

This article covers the most common broker-related questions we hear from Employer Admins.

Do I have a broker partner?

Yes! You can find out if your brokerage is StretchDollar or one of the partner brokerages in your Shopping tab. You'll see instructuions to contact your brokerage - in either a form of a phone number you can call, or a means to schedule a call.

How do I get my broker's contact info?

Your broker's contact details can be found in the Shopping tab.

What your broker partner handles

  • Marketplace shopping questions specific to your state's exchange (on-exchange vs. off-exchange plan options)
  • What changes when an employee moves to a new state — plan availability and marketplace options can differ by state, and your broker is the right resource to walk through what's changed for that employee
  • Agent or broker tax identification numbers
  • Licensing and compliance questions tied to your plan

I want to change my broker of record.

Email support@stretchdollar.com with the change you're requesting — our team will coordinate the update on our end.

I'm an employee and I have a broker-related question.

Broker relationships are set up at the company level, not per employee. Check with your company's Admin first — they'll know whether your company has a broker partner and can loop them in if needed.
